Brittany Kocher

Hello I’m Brittany Kocher and I’m a junior high cheerleading coach and I babysit the days I don’t have class. I hang out with my friends in my free time and I enjoy watching football. I’m undecided right now but I’m looking in to Early Childhood Education. I love working with little kids.

The most interesting person we read about for day would have to be Robert Shields because he didn’t want to do anything that might get him off track of his dairy. He didn’t want to leave town because he said, “I don’t like to be away overnight, because it gets me behind” (29). He writes everything down that he does each day and he evens puts stickers from things he bought and he taped one of his nose hairs on one of his pages. I think what struck me about his life was he said he could stop anytime he wanted to but I don’t he really would have been able to stop because it was his way of life, to write every minute of his life down.

  1. It's cool you are a cheerleading coach! I have cheered all through high school and I definitely miss it! I like the passage was well, it shows how someone can become so obsessed with a hobby.

  2. Go for Early Childhood Education!! I too love working with children and babysitting! I believe it is a very rewarding career to go into. With the changes OSU is making in the program I think it would be a great career for you since you have the babysitting experience!! However if you are looking for a highly paid job you may think more about pediatric nursing or something else involving children! Good luck!!

  4. I'm majoring in Early Childhood Education right now and it seems like an exciting field to be in. I just started taking the courses for my major and its a family participation class. It seems really interesting!
