In the Presence of Fear

The passage I found most interesting was "One of he gravest dangers to us now, second only to further terrorist attacks against our people, is that we will attempt to go on as before with the corporate program to global "free trade," whatever the cost in freedom and civil rights." It really gets people thinking that we do go on as a society as when we did before and not question it. Corporations are only concerned with free trade and don't care what the consequences are to getting there.

  1. I thought that passage was interesting as well. I think it kind of relates to the whole SOPA thing going on at the moment, as all the corporations are the ones supporting it and they don't really care that it would limit people's freedom.

    1. This passage really shows us that it seems we have not learned anything from September 11th. It seems that life will return to the way it was more than 10 years ago.
