McDonalds stop using "pink slime" to treat hamburgers

Just happened across this as I read the news this morning and it relates to what we saw in Food Inc. so I'm sharing the link!

Have a great weekend.

In the article, a dietitian , Sarah Prochaska, was asked her opinion, and it revealed again an emphasis on the domestic arts:  "It's a process, from what I understand, called 'mechanically separated meat' or 'meat product,'" Prochaska said.  "The only way to avoid it would be to choose fresher products, cook your meat at home, cook more meals at home."
